  • There are many places in the car for the vacuum system to leak. In fact most of the car runs on vacuum, brakes, climate control, cruise control all rely on vac. The door lock are the most used and therefore have the most leaks. Each door has a bellows in it. You need to buy a vac. tester/pump with a gauge on it to test the doors for leaks. There is also a storage chamber in the trunk or front fender to store the vac. for the time when you need to unlock the car at a later time. Buy a vacuum gauge, and test each door one at a time. You will find the vac. lines under the carpet that run to each door. Green is unlock, red is lock. Thanks Jon
